Synopsis: What Hat Are You Wearing? is the tale of a girl named Nina who creates her own special hat that ignites her “superpower”—turning undesirable feelings into more desirable ones. As Nina’s story unfolds, she begins to discover that she can choose how she wants to feel in everyday situations instead of falling prey to worries, fears, and even her moods. This invaluable strategy can help children notice their current mind set, develop ways to select and redirect how they want to feel, and prompt conversations about their inner struggles with parents, caregivers, and educators through relatable language.
